Colour Reduction

 

• Automatically reduces the scanned image to Specified Number of Colours.

• Automatically reduces the scanned image to the Selected Colours.

• Use Histogram for reduction with Colour Intensity

 

Repeat Setting

 

• Slicing tool ... to match the four sides of the image by changing the offset of the image in all the four directions thus obtaining a perfectly fitting repeat.

• The Size and the DPI in an image can be modified at any point of time while working in the image by using the Resample command.

• Resize option available to manipulate the size of the image or active selections.

 

Finishing Tools

 

• Use the advanced Editing Tools available in the module to process the scanned image.

• Mark Colours option, to select the colours for editing. [I.e. only the selected colours will be available for editing thus, enhancing image editing precision & speed]

• Insert Image ... to merge multiple images, when the scanning is done in parts due to bigger repeat size.

 

Effects

 

• Gradient Fill, use the tool to create gradations or shaded effects in the image.

• Any pattern can be created and applied on the image or active selections by using the Pattern Fill Library. [The pattern fill library can be modified by the user]

• Stripe and Check patterns with a woven fabric look can be created in the image by using the Fill Warp/Weft option. By using this option, the user gets a perfect amalgam of designs created using the combinations of a weaves and prints.

• Ikat Warp/Weft option, to give the image an Ikat or Space dyed effect.

 

 

 

Color Separation

 

The module is endowed with powerful tools for Color Separations. Supports colour separations for specific colours and as per the planes for e.g.: [RGB, CMYK, HSV] etc...A very useful module if you are already using any third party software for design development. Most useful when the prime need is precision in work and to overcome the problems faced while tracing the design manually.

 

• Color Separation option creates a separate image for individual colours used in the image.  Further, these images can be printed to develop separate screens for individual colours.

• Option to separate the colours as per the Planes [RGB, CMYK, and HSV].

• Multiple Color Separation option creates a separate image for more than one colour, as selected. This option is used while rasterizing images, where shades of same colours are separated in a new image, and black & white half-toning effect is applied to the image to create one screen for multiple colours.

• Color Half Tone to reduce the number of colours in the image by giving the colours a half-toning effect. Shades of same colour are selected and finally converted to one colour plus white. Useful to reduce the number of colours in an image.

• Black & White Half Tone to convert the image to black and white mode, by giving the colours, a half toning effect. Can reduce a multicoloured image to a single coloured screen.
