3D Creator

The 3D Creator is a software tool that allows you to render new colors or designs to a digital photo or drawing. With the 3D Creator, you can define surface areas while retaining the correct perspective and original lighting information.

Once you have prepared a scene with the 3D Creator, you can instantly assign new colors or designs. The 3D Creator delivers high speed/high quality rendering and instant feedback on all your actions. You can use the rendered images for high-resolution prints or low-resolution web content.

The 3D Creator features multiple levels of undo/redo, direct visual feedback when editing objects and properties, real-time rendering, direct access to objects and object properties, user-definable reference designs, image layers, various protection options and quick help. After conversion, the prepread photos can also be used in our other software products and online solutions.

1. The first step is to create meshes for each object. A mesh defines the perspective and determines how a design is going to be rendered into the scene onto the object.
2. The second step is to mask each object. A mask defines which pixels in the image will change when a design is rendered onto a mesh.
3. The third and last step is to make sure that the properties of the object match the properties of the real object. This involves (among others): dimensioning the meshes, positioning textures and determine correct shading parameters.
