Textile Design Automation Systems, in simpler words we help you make reality from your concepts “at the blink of an eye”.

Over the years Wonder Weaves Systems has become a PIONEER of sorts by constantly initiating Research for newer products related to the textile Design Industry. Our prime belief has been providing the best and the most accommodating solution to our clients. Read on and you will understand…

1986, Mr. Ashutosh Arora a Textile Designer & Consultant specializing in Weaving Technology, first thought about this concept whilst his children were playing a newly introduced “Video Game” called ATARI.

1987, Mr. Arora buys himself a SPECTRUM computer; this was a 128kb Memory Computer that used tapes for data. He developed a small code using “BASIC 128” the code generated basic Weaves. The urge for something more sophisticated grew on…

1988,

·     Mr. Arora meets a Master Software Programmer Mr. Makrand Gadre, popularly known as  “MAK”.

·     The two Masters created something that could possibly be India’s first CAD system in all respects, MAK fondly called it TEXStyle, and it basically handled Dobby Weaving development. MAK is working with MICROSOFT since 1994, and is now posted at a very senior level.

·     TEXStyle covered some very impressive features like Auto Pattern, Extra Warp Weaving and Exact EPI/PPI scaling.

·     The computer was then an IBM PC AT 286 8 MHz, with a Monochrome Monitor and a DOT MATRIX printer, MS-DOS 2.1. Mr. Arora used this system to enhance his own designing capabilities.

1989, Wonder Weaves Systems is founded; new entrants to the company Mr. Pramod Bakre and Mr. Sunil Menon. Mr. Bakre took charge of the marketing and Mr. Menon joined in as trainee designer.

1990, More Computer Systems are added, the company finds the going tough, as there are not many takers.

1991,

·     Wonder Weaves Systems celebrates its first Client, M/s Maheshwari Industries.

·     The first colour printer is purchased and more realistic SIMULATION is now possible,

·     More exposure more curiosity.

1992, Wonder Weaves Systems participates in its first ITME India expo.

1993, saw more sales and there was more Staff and better equipment. Ms Samina Mansuri was appointed who then went on to become the Sales spearhead, Ms Samina was with WWS for 8 years after which she migratd to the US, where she represented WWS in its first ever ATME in 2001.

1994, introduced Jacquard Weaving Design Software called JACArt, developed on concepts provided by ATIRA

1995,

·     Introduces TEXPrint, software for prints design

·     Upgrades TEXStyle & JACArt to WINDOWS 95.

1996,

·     Participation in India ITME, and company profile was further established.

·     COLORMode, a color development & matching software was developed which also provided PANTONE compatibility.

1997, exports boomed, more systems were sold to Iran, Pakistan, Sri Lanka & HK.

1998,

·     The Semi Automatic Card Punching Machine is introduced, JACCard;

·     Mr. Vivek Arora joins WWS during this year and heads the Card Punching Machine development.

·     TEXStyle 98, TEXPrint 98 & JACArt 98 are launched for WINDOWS 98

·     WWS introduces the most unique feature INTERACTIVE PITLOOMTM for TEXStyle 98 & JACWeave 2000. This is the most powerful feature aiming at Elimination of the Point Paper Graph, making the softwaresystems utterly user friendly. Now even non-technical persons can develop extremely complex Dobby and Jacquard Designs.

1999, Jacquard designing is given a new dimension, JACArt is phased out and two Software Modules, JACDraw & JACWeave are introduced.

2000,

·   The worlds’ first Software for CARPET designing is developed with Wool Research Association.

·    YARN 2000 is developed,TEXStyle 2000 & JACWeave 2000 become the Worlds’ first software systems to allow usage of scanned yarns.

·     All software converted to 24-Bit system.

·     This year also saw the introduction of TEXTrace a Vector Based Image Development Module.

·     Participation in India ITME

·  TEX3d, 3-dimensional Texture mapping software is introduced.

·     All systems are made compatible to WINDOWS 2000/ME & WIN NT

2001,

·     WWS acquires exclusive dealership of the TC-1, Electronic Jacquard Sample Loom from Digital Weaving, in the India Subcontinent; Mr. Vivek is trained for assembly and maintenance of the same at Norway. Our new motto “from Concept to Fabric… in Minutes”

·     WWS participates in the American Textile Machinery Expo (ATME-I), Greenville, North Carolina.

·     Staubli & Bonas protocols are successfully tested for use with JACWeave ME.

·     All systems are upgraded to WINDOWS XP.

·     WWS installs 4 modules on multi-platform & multi-user CITRIX for testing at a prominent Garment Brand in Germany, well over 50 licences are being considered for purchase.
