Carpet ME has been designed to facilitate fast and efficient designing of carpets with a variety of color and pattern combination as foreseen by the user. Developed to fully automate the traditionally tedious and time-consuming task of carpet designing, the software can be a very handy and economical tool for the carpet industry

 

Carpet has got a various facilities for designing, editing, coloring and creating/printing actual knot layout of the carpet. It allows the user to select the size of the carpet, the weaving resolution (i.e. the knots-per-inch value) and color pattern of the carpet. Then the user can create the knot layout graph and print it in the paper of chosen size. The graph thus produced can be directly used in weaving.

 

In addition to designing the carpet layout of specified size and pattern, the Carpet also allows the user to create different image patterns of his/her own choice and later use them in the carpet layout. Furthermore, it can also be used to change the scheme of an existing design and thereby create an entirely new one. It can also refine any image, photograph or any pre-designed pattern to make them more smooth, clear and attractive before using them in the carpet design.
