JACCard...Semi Automatic Card punching machine for Mechanical Jacquards

 

Almost the whole Indian Textile industry uses Mechanical Jacquard looms, they are found in abundance in the country. These Jacquards use the standard Punched Cards, which are punched by extremely old Manual Piano Card Cutting machines. These machines require skilled labor, and are highly time consuming. This leads to extreme dependency upon skilled labor. These machines are prone to human error.

Based on the feedback, Wonder Weaves Systems has devised a technology, whereby existing Piano Card Cutting Machines can be automated. This has relieved operators from very tedious work of reading the point paper and selecting the punches with the fingers. Computer controls and synchronizes all operations, only one operator is required whose singular task is to load the card as prompted by the computer. This arrangement has numerous advantages to its credit.
